What is a "float"?
A float is a tentative plan you share with friends. It's a low-pressure way to gauge interest before committing to a concrete event. Think of it as saying "I'm thinking about doing this -- anyone interested?"
How do I promote a float to a real event?
Once your float has enough interest, you'll see an option to "Promote" it. This locks in the date, time, and details, and notifies everyone who expressed interest that it's now a confirmed plan.
Who can see my plans?
Only the friends you choose. SocialActivity is private by default -- there are no public feeds or discovery features. You control exactly who sees your floats and events.
How do I add friends?
You can add friends by searching for their username or by sharing your invite link. Both people need to accept the connection before they can see each other's plans.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app. All your personal data will be permanently removed. You can also email us at support@socialactivity.app to request account deletion.
Is SocialActivity free?
Yes, SocialActivity is free to download and use. We may introduce optional premium features in the future, but the core experience of creating and joining plans with friends will always be free.
What platforms is SocialActivity available on?
SocialActivity is currently available for iOS. We're exploring Android support for the future.
